Huawei Watch GT 2 Is True SmartWatch
The Huawei Watch GT 2, announced as it is one of the smartwatches to receive the most positive reviews of any smartwatch of its kind in recent months.
The Chinese manufacturer is now presenting the new GT 2e smartwatch to the world, a revamped version of its flagship. As the name suggests, the Huawei Watch GT 2 is the successor to the Honor Watch Magic, which was based on the GT last year. Although, it does not offer as many features as its predecessor. It is still capable of offering everything that really counts in a well-built watch, A great display and a strong battery life of 2.5 hours.
The smartwatch tickled all the right boxes, tracked your heartbeat, and helped you listen to your favorite songs in Bluetooth speaker mode, make calls, and more. Huawei promise to bring the Huawei Watch GT 2e to the same level of performance as the Honor Watch Magic, but with more features.
Huawei Watch GT 2 Specification in Details
The smartwatch is 10.7mm thick, which looks stunning on the wrist, and is lightweight with a high quality 3D glass face. It has a really durable 455mAh battery that has been with us for almost 10 days during our test.
Thanks to the large display and large dial, the smartwatch is easy to use and gives you 5 minutes of showoff time. You can’t customize the watch or add widgets to it but for the most part, all you can do is tap and swipe.
While you can share data directly from your watch with Google Fit and MyFitnessPal. The Watch GT 2 will behave itself when you use the Huawei Health app.
It’s pretty straightforward to use, with the ability to look at things more deeply if you wish. Although it excels at everything it promises to do, the biggest disadvantage is that it does not do enough at first.
USB 3.0 connection and the ability to download and use external apps in a variety of ways, such as in the Google Play Store. That means you get serious battery life for your smartwatch, even if it comes at a price. That brings you a package that doesn’t cost too much, especially for a flagship smart watch.
There are no speakers built into the watch, but you still get the same 14-day battery estimate. The watch is powered by a Kirin A1 chip and has a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1440 x 1440 pixels and a 2.2-megapixel camera. Essentially, I believe Huawei has brought out the Watch GT to connect with the fitness-centric masses and look beyond the design of the smartwatch. You have access to the Huawei FreeBuds, which can also be connected for workouts, and you also have cantilever chairs on the back of your watch.
Another thing worth mentioning is that you can opt for a dial in standby mode, but with this feature your battery life will be halved, and although it’s nice. you’ll enjoy the Huawei Watch GT 2.
This watch does not support third-party apps or watch faces and is content with the limited number of apps and watch faces that are pre-installed. I am impressed with the design of the Huawei Watch GT 2 and its well-equipped fitness band, which looks like a good fit for a smartwatch with fitness tracker.
Nevertheless, I ask for more, especially given the lack of support for third-party apps and watch faces and the limited number of fitness bands.
Huawei has been active in wearable devices for some time and is steadily displacing new smartwatch models in India. The company launched the Watch GT, and now comes its successor, aptly called the Watch GT 2. It promises a battery life of 14 days and has a speaker that allows you to take calls on the watch itself.
Huawei offers the Watch GT 2 in two sizes: 42 mm and 46 mm, and it is available in both black and white colors.
